Some of the best products for our skin are all natural. When you are out shopping for a facial cleanser or mask, you will notice that nearly every single product mentions some of the natural ingredients they contain. This implies that natural ingredients are effective in facial skin care.

So we are drawn to natural ingredients. One of the ones that is commonly used in facial products is green tea. Green tea has properties that help to reduce oil production when used on the skin. If you have oily skin you can create your own green tea facial care products at home. It is easy to make a green tea facial mist or a green tea mask. It takes almost not time and is much less expensive than buying a product that is mostly chemicals anyway!

To help keep your skin clear and reduce shine you can make yourself a green tea mask. Search for an exact recipe online, but the idea is that you steep some green tea, and then mix it with other ingredients to make a paste. Common additions include rice flour and honey. Simply smooth it on as a mask and leave for fifteen minutes. After that rub it in a little to exfoliate and then rinse off with cool water.

A green tea facial mist is even easier to make and can be used as a refreshing spray and a nourishment for your skin, too. All you have to do is steep some green tea and allow it to cool. Put it in a spray bottle and spray it on your face. Rub it in then spray on a little more and let it dry, then put on your moisturizer and makeup as usual! For refreshment you can spray on more throughout the day.

Taking a very little time to create your own natural green tea facial products is a great way to save money, be earth friendly and help your skin to be healthier. You can’t go wrong!
