Facial Hair Removal Techniques

Our bodies are covered with hair. There are reasons for this, but now days most of those reasons don’t apply. And in modern times body hair is considered to be unattractive. Of course probably the worst place for a woman to have dark hair is on her face.

It can be really embarrassing to have a mustache that is visible when you are a woman. You might take care of yourself, dress with fashion sense and be confident, but when you have that mustache, you don’t want to get too close to anyone. You can try to bleach it to lighten it and you can shave it off, but both of those solutions can create more problems for you.

A more permanent type of facial hair removal is definitely the best option for women who really want to change this aspect of their appearance. Having the unwanted hair removed leaves you free to go about your life without any embarrassment over how you look, if in fact it has caused you embarrassment.

One option for facial hair removal is to wax it. This removes your hairs from the root and gives you a longer effect than shaving. However, it does not last too long and will have to be repeated regularly and frequently for good results.

You might also try laser facial hair removal. By this process, the pigment of the hair is heated by laser to such an extent that it damages the hair. This does not take a lot of time, but it can be hard on your skin. This method is not permanent either and you will have to return for touch ups. Also, because this works on melanin, it is only really effective on dark hairs.

The one facial hair removal option that is considered to be a permanent solution is electrology. This method involves inserting a hair thin probe into the hair follicle. An electric impulse then damages the follicle and prevents hair from growing there again. This process is a top choice because it can be done on both dark and light hairs and is a permanent solution. However, it also takes a great deal of time and is meant to be done over the course of one to four years.

If you have a dark mustache you have probably tried a number of different methods of facial hair removal to get rid of or hide it. If not, you can try one of the methods mentioned above. If you have and are ready to stop going back to have a laser treatment or wax job maybe it is time for you to get rid of the problem once and for all with electrology.
